I’ve pursued two careers throughout my life, engineering to satisfy my technical interests and photography to fulfill my artistic ambitions. I’m a registered professional engineer specializing in the area of electric power. My engineering work has taken me to the far corners of the earth pursuing electric generation projects.
Photographically, I’ve pursued primarily architectural, scientific and aerial projects using 4X5, 2 1/4 square, 35mm and digital formats My passion is to create stunning photographs by viewing subjects from a different perspective, waiting for just the right lighting conditions or using creative processing techniques. With the advent of digital photography, I can do things now that could only have been dreamed of just a few years ago.

Though educated as an Electrical Engineer, I've been writing software for 40 years. Most of my career was with AT&T Bell Laboratories developing large software systems that manage telecommunications networks. I've been a developer, a manager, a software architect, a consultant, and a teacher. Since the mid 90's I have had specific interest in the user interface software using a web browser. Most of my early work there was with highly interactive applications that used a web based interface. Today I continue to explore the use of the Internet for business marketing, sales, and staff workflow operations. I am also an adjunct faculty member in the Computer Science department at Franklin University.
As an avid amateur photographer for 40 years, I now focus on the use of digital cameras for commercial and landscape photography. Other areas of interest are available at my personal web page.
